What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Very comfortable beds and pillows. All of the staff were very courteous, helpful and happy (nothing worse than indifferent or unsmiling staff for a poor customer service!) I love that the hotel doesn’t do the self service breakfast. It may be considered old fashioned but to actually have table service is a wonderful tradition value that shows a personal touch that enhances the customer experience. I love that. The other way is so impersonal.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Nothing. It’s a great hotel in a great spot. The only thing that was a (very small) issue was finding the way into the car park. The sign from the quay road is good but there was no sign to turn left into the car park and it took two circuits of the town to find it. A sign at the turn in would be helpful more than the signs that are visible after you turn into the right road!
