The breakfast was 100% spot on. Breakfast restaurant is very well run + managed, staff excellent, very professional. Good options for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy parking. Lots of choice of spaces, carpark location perfect for day outings in multiple directions. Dinner in bistro - food was very good, although maybe vary the menu a bit ... but the haddock + chips was very good on 2 different nights. Staff looked bored, but 1st night bistro was empty, and otherwise always quiet, not their fault as i know from reading reviews seems to be some issue with the restaurant/inn/boutique hotel across the road giving bad reviews The price/rate was v good for nights stayed. All staff professional + helpful. Yes reception quite right, for room 52 unless shown it, you would not find it. It is a quirky layout of rooms + while room 52 was a bit dated there was nothing wrong with it + its location didnt bother me (but i could see how it would others) + does have good soundproofing as i didnt hear anything overnight (like other doors, ppl talking) I didnt use the hotel wifi so can't comment on that

Is a minor thing but ill mention anyway not sure if can be recified? On the backstairs between breakfast room + bistro to rooms 52-54, the very 1st step that has the black/yellow line - that v 1st step is much deeper down than all rest, just v unexpected that is deeper down. Otherwise there wasn't really anything i didn't like.. is an interesting hotel with character, with hard working staff.

Very professional, friendly, attentive staff on reception and at breakfast, very tasty! Loved the lovely room, loved the ambience of the Hotel. Three of us ladies felt very well looked after. Great parking space Will come again!. Thank you!

Very central/carpark/walls full of history information & very clean hotel.

The staff are very kind, courteous and helpful. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be returning in the future.

Great service in a beautiful hotel full of character.. Felt very much at home there with so much to see in a town my family has close connections with. The Bush was also an excellent place our 45th wedding anniversary!

We sent an email to your hotel on 9 Sept. Couldn't find one fault from reception until our departure. Very friendly, well trained staff who were very accommodating.. Lovely rooms with all necessary facilities and very generous breakfast - plenty of choices. We enjoyed perusing the photos and articles throughout the corridors

The exterior of hotel looks shabby and does not reflect our experience. PPPPPPPLEASE advise owners to change colour and improve. Bar area could do with updating. . Nessa and Dervil Flanagan

I booked on Friday with very late arrival, after midnight, nothing a problem. Night porter so helpful and all done at checking in so quickly.
